Dermaplaning

One of the quickest ways to smooth, glowing skin!

Dermaplaning removes excess dead skin cells as well as facial hair for that baby soft, smooth skin!

Dermaplaning is a manual resurfacing treatment, using a disposable surgical steel blade.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What is the preparation time for Dermaplaning?

There is no preparation time for Dermaplaning.

What is the post-treatment care for Dermaplaning?

After Dermaplaning your skin will be smooth and have a hydrated glow, but it is recommended to NOT exfoliate

the day of or day before your treatment to avoid over-exfoliation.

It is important to maintain skin hydration with serums, moisturizers and protective products.

We also recommend avoiding exfoliation for 3-5 days after treatment.

Can I get Dermaplaning done if I have active acne?

Dermaplaning is not done over active breakouts to avoid skin injury or spreading bacteria.

If you are experiencing active breakouts on the day of your appointment we can adjust your appointment

for a treatment that will better suit your present need.

Other things that would keep someone from being able to receive dermaplaning include raised lesions,

recent chemical peel procedures, eczema or dermatitis, hemophilia, history of keloids,

blood thinner medications, rosacea, skin cancer, sunburn, use of accutane in the last year.

Does dermaplaning hurt?

No, the blade skims the surface which creates a more relaxing experience.

I would love to help you with your skin care needs!
